This activity aims to improve the security, comfort, and aesthetics of the area which is one of the iconic public spaces in North Jakarta.
North Jakarta Assistant for Economic and Development, Wawan Budi Rohman, said that the arrangement was a follow-up to the instructions of the Mayor of North Jakarta, Hendra Hidayat, in response to real conditions which were deemed not yet optimally organized.

Wawan explained that the SIGAP Team also carried out tree pruning as a preventive measure to anticipate potential dangers from fragile or dangling branches.
He appealed to visitors and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to use official parking spaces to avoid illegal levies.
"We have prepared two parking locations, namely at the Sunter Sports Hall which operates until 10 PM and the Sunter shophouse area which serves parking 24 hours a day," he explained.
The SIGAP team operates based on public reports received through the JAKI app and social media. Cross-Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) teams are deployed daily to ensure prompt and appropriate response.
Meanwhile, one of the MSME actors in the Sunter Lake area, Yoyok (40) appreciated the arrangement that was carried out because the environmental conditions are now tidier and safer.
"Visitors and passing vehicles are safer," he admitted.
